Burn
Acrylic Painting on 26x36 canvas
For this painting, we were to create a non-objective abstract piece that was inspired by a song. I chose to create this piece with the song “Burn, Burn, Burn” from Zach Bryan in mind, and used many layers and lots of paint mixed with different application techniques to make it appear how I wanted. I love the vibrancy to this piece and while it is non-objective, I can see scenes of a sunset landscape, with the earthy tones, the oranges and yellows of the bright sunset, as well as the deep blues and faded greens.
